Lankan reps fall out at parallel Geneva session




A tense state of affairs has emerged among many Sri Lankan representatives at a session control in Geneva synchronic to the fortieth session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC).

These parallel sessions were control with the participation of Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP S. Shritharan and Northern Province councillor M.K. Sivajilingam.

However, a heated argument had broken out between MP Sritharan alternative|and several other} other Sri Lankan representatives throughout the session control yesterday (18).

Commenting on matters, TNA MP Sumanthiran explicit that the govt. is lying to the international community.

Meanwhile, the report of the workplace of diplomatist for Human Rights (OHCHR) on “Promoting reconciliation, responsibility and human rights in Sri Lanka” is slated to be thought of at the UNHRC session tomorrow (20).
