Singapore doesn’t show support in extraditing Arjuna Mahendran - President

President Maithripala Sirisena says that Singapore has shown an absence of support within the plan to deliverArjuna Mahendran over the Bond Scam issue.

In a statement on Monday (18), Sirisena aforementioned that he appealed to Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong 2 months past to come Mahendran – World Health Organization is currently a Singapore national – back to state.

Sirisena lamented that PM Lee secure that he can take action however nothing has been done. Revealing that Singapore isn’t returning his calls either, Sirisena said: “He assured Maine that whether or not the person could be a Singapore national or not, they'll take action. Sadly, up to now, Singapore has not capable my decision.”

Stating that there's not spare support from the international community on the difficulty, President says that Singapore ought to issue a transparent statement concerning this or declare that Mahendran isn't residing in Singapore.
